A software engineer, a technical lead, and someone who never quite stopped taking things apart to understand how they work.
I’m Ashkan. I turn complex requirements into systems that people can understand, evolve, and trust.
I’m based in The Hague and work full time at Wolters Kluwer as a Senior Software Engineer & Technical Lead. My work brings together SaaS architecture, cloud platforms, delivery workflows, and the everyday experience of engineering teams.
My path has taken me through real-time services, enterprise workflows, data applications, and platform engineering. The recurring question is the same: how do we make the next change easier to reason about?
Outside my day-to-day work, I explore that question through open-source Go tools and writing. Event sourcing, native bindings, and API integrations are different ways of looking at the boundaries in software.
